Private training lessons are one-on-one lessons, hands on with the trainer, and usually last about an hour. With private lessons, I come to you! I will meet you either at home or out in a dog friendly public place. This is a great option which enables us to focus solely on you and your dog, without the distractions that can come with group classes. With private training lessons I am able to customize the lessons to your needs, which helps you get the results that you want more quickly.

Are you looking for a better-behaved dog, but aren’t sure where to start? Choosing one of the 6-week private training packages will give your dog a solid foundation on some of the most common obedience commands. After the six-week program, if you feel like there are certain behaviors or skills you would like to improve, you can continue training lessons with an individual session or a 4-pack that is fully customizable.

Puppy Training

The Puppy Training Package is for puppies from 10 weeks to 5 months old. This course covers puppy specific issues such as: potty training, jumping, biting, chewing, etc. We will also introduce basic obedience commands to build the foundation for solid obedience.

Basic Obedience

Training Package

For dogs 6 months and up, the Basic Obedience Training Package is a great place to learn some obedience commands and help improve your relationship with your dog. This will give you and your dog a solid foundation of obedience. We typically do one lesson per week and you will work on homework with your dog between lessons.

Private Training Packages

The Private Training Packages require owners to be self-disciplined and consistent in order to see results and maintain the training. Just like any training program, the lasting success of training will be determined by how well you, the owner, follows through with holding yourself and your dog accountable for the new rules, skills, and protocols we set up.

Board & Train Packages

If you want a better behaved, well-trained dog but just don’t have the time to do it all yourself, a board & train can be a great option for many people. Your dog will stay with me, at my home, for the length of the program. Let me do the initial hard work to get the training established so that when your dog comes home, all you have to do is maintain the training.

Along with other methods, we train using communication style, low-level e-collar training. This method of training is on the cutting edge of dog training and allows you to have reliable, off leash behavior indoors or outdoors. This opens up a whole new world of freedom and fun that many owners didn’t believe they could have with their dog. Imagine being able to have a nice walk with your dog without the pulling, barking, lunging, etc. Once your dog is trained, you will be able to enjoy more relaxed walks with your dog. You will also have a dependable recall so you can be confident that your dog will come back to you anytime you call them!

Best for dogs (6 months old and up) who are pretty easy going and mostly just need to work on their manners, respect, and obedience. This program focuses on developing a calm state of mind, respect, and balance. Once completed, your dog will have off-leash reliability with the commands – Place, Sit/Stay, Down/Stay, Loose Leash Walk/Heel, Recall. They will also be crate trained, learn how to respect thresholds, and wait for food.

3-Week

Board & Train Program

3 Weeks - $2,250

Includes everything in the 3 week program, but also focuses on dogs with some mild behavioral issues, including jumping, barking, nervous or fearful behavior, and lack of confidence. We provide rehabilitation that teaches dogs how to navigate the world in a much better state of mind and increases their confidence.

4-Week

Board & Train Program

4 Weeks - $2,950

For puppies from 12 weeks old to 16 weeks old and lasts for 4-weeks. In this program your puppy will learn their name, potty training, crate training, Place, Sit, Down, Loose Leash Walk, and Recall. They will learn these behaviors on and off leash! Puppies will also be learning impulse control and manners along the way. This program will give your puppy a solid foundation of basic obedience, but just as importantly, it will give your puppy a solid foundation to grow into a confident, balanced, dog.

Includes everything in the 3-week & 4-week Programs, but focuses on resolving more intense behavioral issues. In this program we work to address unwanted behaviors such as: Reactivity on leash, reactivity towards other dogs or humans, resource guarding, bite risks, fear issues, aggression (case by case basis), and more. We spend time establishing firm boundaries and clear expectations in order to establish a new relationship with the dog and better behavior.

All Board & Trains At The Dog Haus

While your dog stays with me, I will train them while you work on assigned homework. This way, when your dog comes home you are on the same page and have a better chance of long-term success. Each program includes the following:

30-minute drop off session
Weekly training updates
Two 90-minute go-home sessions
Two 60-minute follow up sessions (usually at 30 days and 60 days)
Phone, Text, & email support from the trainer after the program is completed
